Voices is a brand new program for queer youth of color to create community through creative expression, civic engagement, social networking, and leadership development. Recognizing that queer youth of color often do not have opportunities to create their own spaces, Voices seeks to engage queer youth of color to share their unique experiences and gain empowerment through community building. This is not an attempt to segregate ourselves from the broader community, but is an opportunity for us to express ourselves through various forms of art and explore our identities.
