Annual Sex Ed Conference and Tie One On Party!!!
Open to all Queer, women-identified individuals and their allies.
October 20th, 2012
Sex Ed Conference - 10AM-3PM
Knowing and caring for our bodies is more than a health issue, it's a social justice issue. Sex Justice means educating ourselves and each other about sexual health issues that are important to us as members of diverse Queer, women-identified communities. Sex Justice means advocating for our concerns and our bodies. Sex Justice is an important act of resistance and activism, em-bodied activism! Plus it's just a plain ol' good time. Whether you're a fresh-faced newbie or a seasoned veteran, you're bound to learn something in this fun take on sex education just for US. Our dynamic presenters will take you through the ins and outs (so to speak) of all your favorite sexy topics.
Session topics include:
- Let's be (Lisa) Frank: Safe sex for womyn (presented in English and Spanish)
- To Non-Monogamy or Not: a Panel for those curious about "opening up"
- I'll give you 5 reasons: Fisting form and function
- and much, much more
