Community Support & Wellness Services Branch

Utah Pride offers robust and dynamic programs to support, engage and enhance the lives of Utah's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning and Allied community. This branch acknowledges and responds to all elements of wellness and health: emotional, mental, physical, sexual, social and spiritual. From support groups to active community outings, regular events, learning and advocacy-we focus our energy and enthusiasm to ensure everyone is safe, healthy, happy and satisfied. Programs specifically address health disparities- breast cancer awareness, tobacco prevention & control, and HIV/AIDS prevention- as well as support underserved communities- youth & young adults, womyn-identified individuals, and transgender individuals.

Community Engagement & Awareness

Utah Pride's newest branch offering is Community Engagement & Awareness; with its main focus being to reach the greater LGBTQ community across all generations—engaging them in offerings that are excellent, enlightening and diverse. These events are targeted at meeting the emotional, social, and intellectual needs of LGBTQ individuals. Events include panel discussions, visual, performing, and literary arts offerings/outings/events, informative & educational workshops, forums, as well as national, regional, and local speakers. Intermountain, and Utah regional conferences, celebrations, confabs and public dialogues. Utah Pride's SAGE Utah Program, Family Preservation & Acceptance Program, Anti-Bullying Program, UP 365 Program, Regional PinkDot celebration, and PFLAG coordination all fall under this branch.
